Second edition of the "Vignerons" Wine Festival by Nacho Álvarez Wines. Come this May 18, 2024 to live a unique experience in a mountain vineyard. Eleven wineries from different regions of Spain will make you discover their eco-responsible wine projects.
This is the opportunity to get up close and personal with the winegrowers who, with dedication and love, cultivate the grapes, transforming them into the wine that we enjoy so much. You will be able to taste the wines from each winery, hear the stories behind each of them and the opportunity to buy them directly from those who make them. It will be a day of meeting, learning and, of course, celebration.
We invite you to join the winegrowers at this wine festival and be part of this community that meets every year and finds in each bottle a reason to toast. Celebrate with us the art of viticulture, the pleasure of tasting and the joy of sharing!

Adega O Cabalín - DO Valdeorras
It is a project that is based on the recovery of old vineyards of native varieties, through the practice of organic viticulture in balance with nature, producing wines with minimal intervention.
Payment of Grandparents - DO Bierzo
Mountain Viticulture in El Bierzo, the only winery awarded the "Heroic Viticulture" certification in the region. Focused on the recovery of old vines with planting dates of more than one hundred years. Godello and Mencía, grown and vinified under principles of sustainable agriculture.
Recunco Valley - DO Bierzo
It was born from the need to maintain a unique family and landscape legacy, from the love for this land and the variety of flavors it can offer. The desire to contribute to improving any day, the kind that screams for a glass of wine in their hand and a smile on their face.
Cova Abbey - DO Ribeira Sacra
Abadía da Cova was born with the aim of producing wines, liqueurs and spirits with the least possible intervention, respecting and protecting the environment. The goal that we have set for ourselves since the birth of this company is to maintain the authenticity and typicality of our raw material, so that it reaches our customers with the maximum guarantee of quality and origin.
Banzao - DO Bierzo
The project was born in 2017 with the lease and recovery of 3.5 hectares of old vineyards in San Pedro de Olleros. This small town is located 750 m in the Valley of the Ancares River and belongs to the municipality of Vega de Espinareda, in the region of El Bierzo (León). The origin and reason for this personal project has been and is the recovery of these old vines in this small town.
Cantariña - DO Bierzo
Cantariña Vinos de Familia was born from the desire of some brothers to recover an activity that their family had abandoned decades ago but of which two jewels were still preserved: Los Pinos and Valdeobispo. With the fruit of these two vineyards located in Villafranca del Bierzo, the Ysart Alvarez de Toledo brothers want to resume viticulture and the production of good wine in El Bierzo.
Pincerna - DO León
The Wineries in León de Pincerna are linked to a family dedicated to viticulture for generations. The project arises from the old Villacezán winery, in Gordoncillo, belonging to the García Luengos family and recently joined by the Espinosa winery, in Grajal de Campos, a unique place declared BIC (Asset of Cultural Interest), which represents the historic wine capital.
Dementia - DO Bierzo
Our mission is to create a sustainable project capable of adding value to our grapes and also protecting, maintaining and recovering our landscape full of old vineyards, inheriting their best potential. To do this, we rely on the regeneration of soils and the integration of cultivation into organic farming. In the winery, we develop artisanal preparations, based on minimal intervention that are complemented by careful aging that we manage in an attentive and personal manner.
Godelola - DO Bierzo
Godello from ten-year-old vines of which the brothers José and Pilar make only a thousand bottles each year. "Lola" is what they affectionately called their grandmother Manuela, who was the owner of the vineyard from which this Bierzo godello is now produced.
Ju Tendrils - DO Ribera del Duero, DOC Vinho Verde, La Cabrera
This winemaking project without borders is born from the passion of winemaker Nacho Álvarez for experimenting with different winemaking techniques on native grape varieties of a certain region. The regions of Ribera del Duero, La Cabrera and Vinho Verde (Portugal) were covered.
Gancedo - DO Bierzo
We are winegrowers, passionate about producing wines every year that really excite us, and make a winegrower proud to be one. We promote sustainable and integrated respect for the environment, we believe in the viticultural tradition of the area, from which we have learned to work our vineyards and we believe in life integrated with nature with whom we share time and experience, without invading it.
